If you want the 100% achievement, use one of the guides to fill in the gaps.
There are diminishing returns to finding missing videos - some are all but impossible to find on your own. There's a fan patch for the PC on Steam but I haven't tried it since i used a console. If you want to start at the beginning of the video, you have to slowly rewind you can't just jump to the start. The game has a poor control choice: if you find a video containing a word, you start playback from where the word was found. Logan Marshall-Green acted the hell out of this.
